apologies if this has been covered before, I am buying tyres for the e46 m3 and want to spread the pain a bit 2 now and 2 before summer when I take it out of storage. Currently sitting on oem 19 " CSL alloys. where is the best place to buy, to get the best deals? is there a better deal to be had buying a set as opposed to individually etc?
No savings advantage in buying 4 but i would buy in pairs

Might avoid the exchange rate costs involved with the UK sites? I've used them once before for Continentals and they run a good service

Also what happens if the tyre gets damaged during the swap over process? Who covers it? The tyre fitter or the online supplier? Who judges if it is a clumsy tyre fitter or a poorly constructed tyre.
I've bought tyres online in the past, part worn tyres when I was in college & now I've switched to a local supplier. I just do my research online & have a number in my head when going to buy. (Ironically the opposite of what most retailers suffer from, customers trying out products in store then buying online!).
Price a couple of local places too, you might be surprised...
Bought two rears for mine today, Avon zz5. €180 each local supplier.
Found them nice in the wet so staying with them again. Only lasted 10
months though.
