Service History Check Help

Im looking at an 08 320d and the dealer is saying it had the timing chains done in Duffys but the service history has gone missing. I know i should probably walk away but the car is priced below market and ive bought off the dealer before with no probs.

So the question is can i call BMW to ask when this work was done and at what mileage it was done at. Ive have the Reg No. and the VIN No.

Any advice appreciated.

Duffys should be able to confirm the work done if you ring them.

Have contacted JD's and waiting on a call back. Didnt think they would except requests from non-owners. Cheers.

Duffy's got back and confirmed the timing chains were done. Now to haggle a few more euro off.... Cheers.
