How bad are the wheels?
Metal polish and below grease is often the solution. Wet and dry paper at very fine girt may also be needed depending on the condition.
the lips are dull. not bad tho. there they wheels with the green centres in this thread http://www.bmwhaus.ie/forum/showthread.php?tid=7004&page=2
You're biggest issue is having to split them to get around the area around the bolts right!
You'd be surprised how we'll they'd react to a bit of fine grade steel wool and metal polish, and finish them with a microfiber and metal polish....Id try that out on a small section before going out and splashing cash on special polishing tools.
Meguiars metal polish , magic eraser , elbow grease and a microfiber :wink:

You can buy polishing bits for a drill. You get the polish and the cloth material wheel
