So airbag light went on for the first time ever on my car and won't switch off now... Just in time for NCT... Does anybody know if this is a result of one thing in particular or could it be a number of things?

The best advice is to get the codes read.
It's usually the seatbelt connector wiring in a single airbag car, seat occupancy sensor in twin airbag models.
Hope this helps.
On the money I'd say...but IF TIME IS AN ISSUE then the clocks out and bit of wire time ;)Quote:

I don't want to mess with that Dave, I think if a car has airbags and the light doesn't go on for the few seconds when you switch on the ignition it fails the NCT, but I want everything to work properly anyway. Thanks anyway!Quote:

I had a pinched squib before and the horn still worked. Read the codes could be anything. Or just reset it could also be a one off fluke not worth worrying about ;)
