Hi All,
I drive tells me that my front pads need changing. I left the car in and now the garage is suggesting that the discs need doing too. The car has 44K miles on it. Is this a bit early for discs?
I previously had an E60 and never had to do any work on the brakes.
Any thoughts welcome.

The F10's are known to eat the discs tbh. Is it auto? Mine were done at 57k miles.
Yes its an automatic.
Yeah they tend to wear much quicker. As I said mine were done at 57k miles and I know a BMW Specialist who said watch out for the discs.
The f10 has CBC - Cornering Brake Control and the Cruise Control also has a brake function so the car does a lot more braking than you have done as its driver. IIRC I replaced the front disc's on mine at around 55k.
