2009 125i - Manual/3.0/Quaife LSD/3.64 CWP/1M Suspension - 138k - NCT 02/23
Having really enjoyed this fantastic little rocket over the last year and a bit, my work commute is about to substantially increase so the difficult decision has been made to sell this car for a more suitable daily driver.

I bought the car from Piers of Backroads, please see previous ad link below. It still has the same spec (Quaife LSD, Supersprint exhaust, big brakes, shortened final drive, etc) but is now on Uniroyal Rainsport tyres. http://www.backroads.ie/forum/car-re...upe-3-0-manual
Since I bought the car in March 2021, I drove it for a little while before biting the bullet, putting a huge parts order in and dropping it to Dave Gormley in Wexford. He removed the subframe, fuel tank and basically stripped, powdercoated and reconditioned everything from the gearbox back! He spent a total of 55hrs on it!
New parts include:
BMW E46 M3 gearbox mounts
E9x M3 rear control arms
E9x M3 subframe bushes
Front and rear drop links - Lemforder
Rear arms and bushes - Lemforder
All 3 diff mounts - Lemforder
All new rear ball joints - as per M3 - Lemforder
All new brake hoses - Brembo
New hard brake lines - BMW
New rear wheel bearings - SKF
New rear abs rings
New brake dust shields
Subframe bolts - BMW
2 gearbox seals - BMW
Various nuts and bolts
Its currently at 138k KMS and has a full service history.
In addition to the above I’ve done the following regular servicing:
28/04/2021 @ 124311km
Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 Oil - LL01
Mann Oil Filter
Bosch Platinum Spark Plugs x6
Mahle Charcoal Pollen Filter
TRW - Front antiroll bar links
Liqui Moly Injector Cleaner
22/01/2022 @ 133640km
Manual 5W40 Oil - LL01
Mahle Oil Filter
Mahle Air Filter
Other bits in my ownership:
New LCI rear lights
New windscreen
Pressed metal plates
2 new brake calipers
A bluetooth dongle that allows music streaming via the AUX input
BMW roof bars - new
NCT - 02/2023
Tax - expired 05/2022
I know I’ll look back and kick myself for letting this go as its the last straight six NA petrol BMW in a coupe body with manual gearbox and a limited slip diff.
Thanks
