Good morning all,first sales post on here so feel free to correct me.
This BMW M3 CS was first registered in the UK in 08/04 and imported to Ireland in January 2007.Its been here since and I took ownership in October of last year where its been my daily driver without fault.
I had intended to get the few things I wanted sorted done before the summer but an impending house purchase means the car won't receive the tlc it needs from me now.
The things I wanted to address were the stone chips on the front end,a few areas of rust bubbling on the usual places(where the front wing meets the bumper,on the rear apron)the mirror bases are both suffering from BMW' terrible decision to make these from aluminium and so suffer from corrosion.The alloys have not been refurbished in my time and so would benefit from a refurb.The rear PDC was not working so after a diagnostic I found I had to replace the module,which I did but I never got round to replacing the two faulty senders which I have and will include in the sale.
The interior is in great shape with all electrics working as they should.The alcantara steering wheel would benefit from a re-trim.I would have also invested in some preventative maintenance by installing some form of subframe reinforcement,maybe the one from reddish.
On purchasing the vehicle I got a health check by BMW and an oil change,they checked the subframe and told me there was nothing to worry about.While only covering a couple of thousand miles there is plenty of life left before the next fluid change.
This car is an actual development vehicle for the CS program and so has the CS upgrades associated with that.
The mileage is high but the car has been well maintained and as such pulls like a train through all the gears.
I have fallen in love with this car but needs must and the new owner will have lots of fun in it
