E60 Angel Eye/Halo replacement bulbs

A quick question...

Am enquiring as the the location for the halo bulbs in a pre LCI e60? Is it a headlight out job to replace them? Have upgraded bulbs bought and any find a straight forward guide to locating/fitting them!
