Can any parents give feedback on this?
You put a baby seat in the back, you put the baby in the baby seat.... no problem, right?
I get the feeling I’m missing something :D

It’s a pain in the arse after a while. Slightly easier when they’re in the capsule already, but still a pain. I used the M3 with two kids when my Golf was out of action, it does the trick for occasional use but that’s about it.
Same as Ken, for occasional use only. Or get a convertible but that wouldn't work too well come winter! Sounds like you need to invest in an E90 M3 :D
lol spoken like someone who hasnt had to loads kids into a car before !!! its difficult enough with back doors not to mention a coupe!! Trust me it will be a major PIA over time the bending down and general faffing about will drive you mad, I ended up going down the touring route, baby check, buggy check, buddy the english bulldog check!! I'd say clear of a coupe from a practical point of view!
Your lower back will change your mind for you after a few weeks...
Sounds like the No's have it Peter :)
Nice try though! Even Man Maths genuinely sometimes can't give us the answer we truly need or would like. Never mind, give it 25 years or so and you'll probably be back in to a coupe :)
Its people like you that 4 series Gran Coupe's and VW CC's were designed for I suspect.
Thanks for the responses, haha looks like I need to invest in a 4 door and a baby manual :D
OH has a facelift VW CC and it's a great cruiser indeed and looks well (in any of the darker colours IMHO). As close as you'll get to a coupe but with 4 doors and a big boot. Naturally go for the GT model with the heated leather, 18" wheels and factory tinted rear windows for the child. We've a 2yo and a 4yo and there's no problem fitting them and all their gear in.
Only issue is 99% will be diesel (they did do the 200bhp TFSI but UK only I suspect). If I had my way, an Eibach Pro-Kit would be under it to really finish it off, but alas I don't have my way....;)
I have put kids in booster seats in the back of coupes for years, even a 911 for a time. Only occasional but better than nothing. The trick is to have another car for family duties and you coupe only for personal uses and occasional dad pickups.
