Hi folks, what is the best (cheapest) way to send a cat-back from Ireland to the UK and vice versa?
Looking to send my original 328 cat-back to the UK in exchange for an aftermarket one.
Will it cost a fortune being a bulky item?

I've user parcel2go to do that. No hassle. Just need to give them dimensions. I sent the exhaust to Poland, so UK should be ok
Are you getting it?:happy:Quote:

If he will be willing to send it to me and I can get mine sent over without it costing a fortune, then yes :)Quote:

How do you even begin to package that? Isn't there high risk if it's sent as one long thin piece of metal? Or do you cut/dismantle?
The turbo down pipe and cex at are quite small. Then the cat back is the longest bit. Wrapped t in black bags and then fully wrapped it in one full roll of brown tape.Quote:

This fella from backroads is well known for doing deliveries from and to UK
Should be better value and quicker than anpost who increased their prices again recently.
Cheers folks, the deal fell through, but thanks for the replies :)
