How do I sort a seized bolt
Doing an exhaust change in a glanza and exhaust paste has gotten all over a bolt in the flange . The bolt will not move as its been there a few years etc. wd40 and swearing has had no effect.
(Bolt in question connects catalytic converter to exhaust so cutting it out is out of the question )
Thanks
RE: How do I sort a seized bolt
Did you try heating it with a blowtorch????

Weld to it and do it that way or pilot hole it and use an easy out or left hand drill bit
Also heat is a good idea too.

RE: How do I sort a seized bolt
Let us know how it works out
RE: How do I sort a seized bolt
I know the bolt in question. Just cut it of re drill the cat and fit a fresh nut and bolt or shave a bit off the stud until it's flush with the nut and try open it.
Improvise. Adapt and overcome ;)
RE: How do I sort a seized bolt
We overcame it before the blow torch arrived. Lump hammer and two smacks later we are sorted. Now need new bolts though haha
