I think your ok without 4x4 once under 3500kg regardless of axles. You’ll be getting close to that with car and trailer and any passengers, tools , jacks etc.
What approx weight of twin axle trailer
My f30 is 1495kg plus track car is 1000kg
That LEAVEs approx 1000kg trailer
Does Anyone know who fits towkl bars on these or any info about them

Have you got a full car and trailer licence to begin with?
am adding be category to my licence, doing the theory test and hen applying for the provisional BE then will do test asap, as for the trailer i will be hiring it when needed
If the towing limit is 1600kg for the car then your overweight with your trailer and track car
correct me if im wrong but if the loaded car is 1000kg and the unladen weight of the trailer is 495kg ( for example an ifor williams one i seen online) that means load and trailer is approx 1495 kg correct? so would it not be under the 1600 limit of the 320d ?
