Have a e36 316i and just bought a 318is engine for it. Would the flywheel from the 316i fit with the 318is engine?
Thanks

Yeah but you'll need the clutch
Clutch diameter is the same for both, flywheel will bolt on as well
if it has a/c it has dmf ther for clutch is without springs, if nos ac it most likely will be smf and clutch will be with springs. all e36 4pots (appart of IS) use 215mm dia. clutch only e36 6 pot that was usin smf in early stages was 320i (m50)
Thanks for that!
