2009 520d buying advice

A friend of mine is planning on looking at this car

Is there anything to watch out for on this model?

Any help would be appreciated, my knowledge ends at e36!

The front and rear dogs are an interesting option...

Timing chain, DPF & turbo are the main points, I'm sure someone much more knowledgeable will correct me if necessary.

same as N47 , can go very long or dodnt hold milegae at all ,but the point was ,that they do fail!
