Ok nice and simple...

Apple or Samsung....

Apple for me, simple reason is im use to them from the iPod days, but i do believe Samsung are way ahead in terms of features and technology?? Apple are starting to annoy me with the changes they make when a newer version comes out, means every accessory you bought is worth nothing when you change phone/ipod/ipad

Thought after my first iPhone that I'd be using them for a long time. Changed to a SGS2 and haven't looked back...on the SGS4 now and its great!

Android. iOS is ghey, restricted and overpriced (clever but overpriced). And at the minute Samsung and HTC lead the way.

Apple for me too, I got my 1st ipod when these were released:

And I'm still using it regularly.
Had an iPhone 3gs first, now on a 4s, never any major issues.
Have a work phone with the android OS and I hate it.

Android for me samsung everything in my house tablet,phone ,tv

Never liked how restrictive apple products are they do look good but way too exspensive for what you get

I quite like Apple products, my iPhone is a decent enough bit of kit and I still love my old 160Gb classic iPod. However, there's been a bit of an air of bullying the market about them in recent years, like MicroSoft in the 90s and IBM before that

If I need a new phone though, I'll possibly give HTC a try next

Apple, they just seem classier or better built or something.
Yes iOS is restrictive but what do ya want, it's a phone at the end of the day.
