Whats the situation when selling a car to someone up north.
Is there any other form that i need to get or is it just the log book etc??

I dunno but you can claim current vrt less 500 so it should be 1k in your pocket if it's the m3.

You can get a vrt refund if the car is being permanently exported. I'm sure its current vrt less 500 "admin fee " I haven't done it but I hear you have to jump through a few hoops with the vrt crowd but it'd be worth it. If the car ever comes back south again vrt is liable.

Yea I'm sure, once the car wasn't brought in as vrt exempt which it wasn't.
