E36 Auto dip mirror Retrofit
I am thinking of doing this as I have a dash cam on the way which I will be permanently wiring to the car. Might as well do it all at the same time. Is it worth it? When its not cut from a car how is it normally connected? Like is it just on the loom or is there a connecting bit that fits at the light connection? Obviously I know I can solder but was wondering if it is possible to get it with a socket?

E36 Auto dip mirror Retrofit
Obviously it could never come with a connector so I guess as the reverse signal doesn't come up that far?
For day to day driving though is it actually useful or does anyone have a preference?
Sent forward in time from my Nokia 3210

I have one I intend to fit when i finish gathering the rest of the interior. It has to be easier than flipping it no?

Yep very usefull at night time to stop glare from headlights behind , with the tinted door mirror glass and the auto dim they work pretty well together
