So they've decided to further play around with the registration system.
Out goes, LK, TN, TS & WD rolling to L, T & W respectively.

You know why that is dont ye ?
Cause they have too many fecking digits on the plates now
131-lk-57657 makes for a stupidly long reg
They should change them all to 'D', then all the cars down the country will instantly be worth more! :D
and more chance for chris to get another car as no more TS reg :happy::happy:
Do they just randomly pull ideas out there arse?
Why the need to change? What about DL, KK, KY, CN etc....
Another pointless stupid change to the reg system.
Can kind of understand the LK & WD ones, moving away from splitting city and county. As for the others...agreed makes zero sense.
Why was it just not like that in 1987:huh:
Someone in Revenue want to feel important.
This is actually a really big change, first time it's happened in 110 years: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_Ireland#Pre-1987_mark_codes
As for TN & TS, this goes back even further historically. Are they finally merging the councils there as well?
Exciting stuff :P:D:D
Bring back the pre-87 plates I say!! :D
