Car failed nct today on the airbag light been on. I did abit of research and figured out it can be bypassed by soldering diodes and a resister into the sensor. But my question is where exactly to I connect to under the seat.

I got this yoke for me e46 and it plugs in to the matching connector near the rear of the passenger seat, I presume e36 are similar http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...cd33893751.jpg
It could possibly be other reasons. On my E36 it turned out to be 2 issues, some wiring from the retro fit of the MF controls and also a broken wire at the seat belt receiver on the drivers seat.
Had it on the diagnostic and it showed two faults. The first was the airbag ring so I got one and fitted it and the other was the seat sensor.
