Yeah hopefully the insurance covers it. I don't fancy forking out 1k+ to replace it.
Just noticed you said LED not LCD, I don't think LED screen replacements are cheap but cracks and scratches get can be repaired. It'll all depend on how bad it is

An LED is still just an LCD panel, the only difference between an LCD and LED (which is technically an LED LCD, but that just confused the shit out of everyone) is the backlight. A cracked panel is a replacement panel, no way of repairing it.Quote:
