Is thee any damage being done at the moment
Thanks
when I fitted mine I noticed it before putting all back together so I took it off and hammered it a bit and tried it a few times until I was happy,if you are doing it yourself leave it in 2 or 4th gear and if underneath you will see how much needs bending to miss the shaft, its only a tiny bit but it makes a difference.

that balancer is old school idea! newer props comes without it, and also each prop on both ends has factory weights put on, so it is balanced anyway. prop can easely do without that drum!!
any way, claudio must take a look him self and deside what is the best option and what to do. in my case it was hitting bad, so i knocked that drum off. did not felt any difference what so ever.

i cant find the part number anywhere
yes it can. ive few bushes made out of nylon for it. all you need to do is drill/burn/push out the old one and push in new one, that someone made for you. there is no oem factory replacement for it. i could not find it anyway, when i made them my self

I don't disagree the centrifugal force it causes Is caused for a reason therefore I wouldn't interfere but that's my opinion, it is much easier to bend the shifter than remove the drum in any case ;)

i agree its easier if its only touching slightly, but in cases where interfierence is big, you may want to consider ur options..
