********* is a prick in my eyes. Some others have ok experience but I've had bad, my sister had bad and a few friends also think he is a prick.
I'm sure his mechanics are ok but because of the owner I won't give him business.
Have never met him so cant comment , but from feedback from others they are one of the best places to have a bmw alligned
Interesting. But yeah just giving my experience.
I just won't give business because he was ignorant and rude to myself and others on different occasions.
Went in, got it looked at. Said it needs new front ball joints, arms, bushes etc. Also an alignment. I said I'd nothing else to drive, he said just to take it easy I. It until I get it done, no motorway driving etc.
So on my way I to town through the park and there's smoke coming from my front left wheel arch. The alloy on that side is absolutely scalding hot. I'm gonna try drive it back to them. Should I? Any ideas? I'm fed up at this stage!
That sounds more like a caliper sticking mate
Your caliper is stuck/sticking id say
Jack it up and try spin the wheel
That sounds like more than alignment, is the car pulling to one side? It's definitely not rubbing against the strut or anything like that?
I'll drive it home and do that. The next stupid question: how do I unstick it? Guessing it's a big enough job? The ABS isn't currently working. The relay needs fixing/replacing. Could this be the problem with the calliper?
