It was up the road from where I used to live but beforehand and afterwards most of the tool bags where out around acting the arsehole in the local area. I'm sure then Joe Soap was onto the boys in blue asking them to do something.Quote:

I'd imagine they were, it's a major part of why I dis-associated myself with that "scene" a few years agoQuote:

This thread will be moderated as is always the case. But if it's so easy to see posts on an open FB thread from a quick Google search of the Garda tweet etc well then the car owner in question should really clean up their page/comments on other pages IMO to protect their legal case(s).
Was it a she by any chance no :) welded are okish but quite dangerous most of the time, it's the clowns that drive them and there ball a shit twincams on every crossroad across the land. Can you imagine the fun they'd have up around Donega catching yuppies !! I wasn't sure if they wear illegal as such as cars will pass an nct like that, what about the spool boys or a very tight 2way I wonder even a 1.5 can be tricky at times. I wouldn't use a welder only ever used lsds but have driven quite a few I wouldn't advise most
they say you won't pass an nct with a welder but i know of an e36 that passed in december in cork with a welded diff and didn't bribe the tester etc, but my cousins golf failed on lowering springs (the tester said they didn't know if they were cut or not )
fitting welded diff in Barts mini :hehe!:Quote:

Im not going to argue for or against, but whats the difference between a welded diff and a shimmed up 2 way lsd? not terribly a whole lot.
As for shit handling and being dangerous on the road, the dirt cheap, half plastic tires that joe soap puts on his car are far more dangerous than a locked diff.
