I think the 7mm spacer isn't enough on its own as you said.im kinda stuck and have to use spacers as the tyre is very close to the coilovers without them and they are new tyres.dont see why 2 spacers together would be a issue but if someone knows let me know.

spacer problem
With the spacer on spacer set up James you may run into problems, the hub-centric lip rests on the hub and the wheel then sits over the spacer lip which is supported by the hub.
With a spacer on spacer the hub-centric part of the outer spacer will not be resting and will not be supported by the hub. Thus all the weight of the wheel will be on the unsupported lip of the outer spacer and may result in it breaking also. Not sure if I have explained my thoughts properly and clearly!!.

Thanks cab..i bought new spacers yesterday from a friend.couldnt trust them ones.better safe than sorry
