We are running at 46 tonne now and up and down hills/mountains every day so every one of the 500 is needed. There is plenty yokes going up and down the m7 that could manage away with 3/4 of the power they have !Quote:

Give or take a few miles per hour - you are doing approx 10 miles per minute? Using 10 gallons per minute?
Pretty close.
It would depend a lot on headwinds and tailwinds, but roughly, 8 statute miles per minute burning 9.2 imperial gallons per minute = 0.87 MPG.
I wonder what the A380 fuel consumption calcs into??
