See where your coming, Valdas from but in terms of nct, I know for a fact that a cage is fine. Doesn't matter if it's weld or bolt in as long as there's no sharp edges and no door bars restricting access.
Couple of different nct testers I've asked said that's what they were told in relation to them.
Some lads might request and engineers report alright but that's the biggest issue you can have.
As for what's the point. Main reason for. A cage is being able to make optimum use of a harness :)
You'd be amazed how much stiffer a car with a cage can feel like too.
Rollcages are one of the last things on the list for paddy spec trackcars but they should be pretty much one of the first things on the list :)
