I always admired that engine's performance despite it being the dreaded n47, a 123d coupé m-sport would be kinda cool :)Quote:

S5 is a bit over but there just ideas rather then anything else
Nice one Gar, keep the ideas coming :)
I'm in the same position Peter, considering a newer car at the start of next year. No matter what way you look at it, purchasing a newer car to avoid maintenance costs is false economy. You'll lose the difference in depreciation anyway :)Quote:

The worry is after you already pay a lot for a newer car, something goes bang and you still end up paying to fix stuff that shouldn't need fixing... :(Quote:

Bit on the older + pricer side all the same, I'm thinking 330d 08+ with all the bells and whistles if one turns up :)

You know I'd love to Gar, but I poured cash into mine as well and can't see an end to it. I don't enjoy it anymore, it's not fun. It would be if I was doing the work myself but even a vaccum leak a couple of months ago had me running around like a headless chicken trying to sort it. No more. I genuinely don't want a newer car for a myriad of reasons but just had enough at this stage.
