You'll see the little self levelling arms on the front & rear suspension arms, little black box with an arm attached to a little drop link:Quote:

That still doesn't show them in action mark for the mot it simply states test washers and self leveling only if fitted and were possible to do so, in order to test them the vehichle would have weight added to the rear seat
Too be honest most testers wont be arsed testing it id say, I mean they would have to spray the windshield what 5 times or something before the headlight washers come out and spray the lense
Id say if they spot odd wiring ie aftermarket stuff they will just fail it if the washers are not present
after each ignition on ,headlights on , press windscreen washers and headlight washers will work once .when car is driving ,headlight washers will work not every time u press windscreen washers ,but after some kilometers of driving
Ok, so what's the give away for the tester to say they are xenon or not?
Doesn't affect me but, can somebody neatly fit hid conversion to a projector headlight, hide the cables and ballast where it cannot be seen. Then it becomes a xenon look bulb?
May be an option. But the just of what I'm hearing is that it's gonna be a case of take me out and put them back in. E60 projector in one example for this.
Also as said above, DC5 integras came with xenon and no washers afaik same as the JDM EP3 civic type r.
friends E39 failed NCT with retrofitted oem xenon lights as there was no washers .tester said i was late about two weeks
easy to spot xenon lights :wink:Quote:

Non xenon lights do this is well though John, mine do it every time I turn the ignition on they go down and back up and I do not have self leveling ,according to tis this is a feature that simply stops the adjusters from seizing up
