I saw someone predict on another forum a few months back by looking at trends in oil prices that petrol would be at 1.30 by Christmas..seems he won't be too far off if it stays going
€1/L would be absolutely fantastic, I remember it being around that price when I first started driving
I'm showing my age now but when I started driving petrol was 44p a litre! Steadily rose to 55p and then I think the euro came in and it was 75c a litre! Good old retail conversion.

cheapest I've ever bought fuel in ireland was at approx €1.35 :(
Any saving at the pump is quickly lost again at home with electricity and gas just climbing and climbing
To see petrol at a euro again would be great though it was just under a 1e when i got my e36

Wrecks my head, Esb + BG are making a killing from this! The guys at a fourcourt will make a small bit more but not a massive amount considering whatever happens we have to pay excise at 6Xc a litre.
