Unless the button was retrofitted to be used for something else. You could pop out the button and see is it actually connected to anything and if so it's the wiring original or retrofitted.
Attachment 1407
No it looks original, its the exact same as the images that were returned from a google search, slightly green button with ASC above it.
same as this one
Good man Marcus looking forward to seen it in the flesh
I think the later ones did? Could be wrongQuote:

I reckon someone has retrofitted bum heating and just swapped out the whole panel and not remove the ASC button....
That explains why US and Canadian models got ASC i think:happy::happy:Quote:

One of the rear shocks was shot so decided to order a H+R cup kit through alloywheels.ie, however there ended up being some confusion and turns out the kit is for the normal 6cylinder models and not the M3, so was back onto Keith in alloywheels, he was great dealing with the situation and went about ordering a Bilstein B12 kit with the B8 shocks from the Z3M coupe for the front, along with the Eibach springs, the B8 fronts from the Z3M coupe seem to be a popular mod with the people on m3cutters as there more suited for the lowering springs, the Z3M coupe shares the same front axle as the Evo so no problems expected with fitting. Suspension should be here by end of Week/early next week.
Got a set of 10mm H+R spacers for the front.
Full inspection 2 service
Brake fluid
New discs
New OEM front rad
Z3M top mounts
Braided brake lines
Braided clutch hose
Full bushing set
Wishbones
A clutch stop (which appears to be just a piece of plastic with a screw in it, will try it out, gets good reviews)....... Jury's out
Other work being done also includes some tidying up of panels such as door cards which werent sitting 100%, window regulator, slightly sticky door handle, will update with exactly what when I pick it up, hopefully within next couple of Weeks.
Also picked up a front polished Motorsport wheel to use as the spare wheel, very happy with the condition of it.

How the hell did I miss this one.
I think I post that car on the donedeal thread.
That colour is absolutely stunning and so is the car. You have just entered my top 3/4 Irish e36 M3.
Is the Motorsport the on from the guy in Carlow?
