Good work, I am still thinking about my suspension set up. I think I just go for eibach lowering springs for now.
Hoping to pick this up from the garage in next Week, will update thread with all the work done then. Going to go over this afternoon and take it for a spin.
Might look into a set of AC schnitz wheels if I can find a decent set.
Just to give an update on this,
DL motors done a good bit of work to the car over the last few months which as said before included a full suspension refresh with Bilstein B8/6 kit including the lowering springs, new wishbones, drop links and bushes.
Braided brake hoses and clutch hose.
There's 10mm spacers on the front
Il update the list when when I have everything that was done.
Car received a new NCT until Dec 2015
I attended the Weekly Haus meet in Blanchardstown last night and thanks to a couple of members found some damage I was unaware off.
Basically the Matt in the boot was not sitting right when the spare wheel was in, so when they inspected it they found a crease / impact damage in the spare wheel arch, the damage was caused from the bottom up. Needless to say I was surprised but was happy to discover it at the same time. After an initial shock and all thoughts from the car being rear ended to having a car that was two cars put back together crossed my head Cab informed me that it looks like damage caused by the car possible falling off a Jack or being let down on a ramp with an axle stand or something being beneath it.
Anyhow I dropped down to Ken in Specialist cars today, whom I deal with a lot with the Porsche, he happily put the car up on the ramp and confirmed what Cab said, he's confident that the car was jacked up by the diff mount and the Jack slipped, he said he can see the print from the Jack on the damaged part of the beneath spare wheel frame.
While it was up he had a look under the car and stated how clean and straight it looked. Cab couldn't find any accident damage looking at the body work last night and it was good to have Ken confirm this while it was on the ramp.
Anyhow my focus has now shifted from selling this to fixing it. It's not major damage but i want to fix it. I've really enjoyed driving it the last couple of days so I'm going to get this issue sorted and put some decent rubber all round on it.
After these a re complete il look at getting it detailed and go from there.
Il document the repair but here is the pics I have so far

An honest man fair play. I bet who ever ends up with this will be glad you had it before them!
This is from the underneath
Notice the way you can see the round imprint that would correspond with a trolly Jack
