Probably is that, there is a procedure to manually close the two sunroofs

Finally have a whole weekend off so i can tip away at it tomorrow, the front drivers window was half ways open for a good while before i bought it but managed to close that by using a car battery and 2 wires into the window plug behind the door card, must try do something with the sunroof now as its tilted open at the moment. Can you tell me where that control module is located by any chance?
Think it's under the rear seat

No problem. Thanks man
You can put an Allen key into the motor and manually close it? Was the car on the road? I know when I first learned to drive I used to drive me e34 through huge puddles just for the splash and would regularly lose windows and sunroof. I've since grown up, marginally. Check that the splash guards are all in place properly. I for some reason think that water was getting in on the passenger side (possibly to the relay box on the passing side). I never checked out was there a leak but in a few days it used to sort itself out.
Check for waters in the front relay/fuse box on the passo side anyway. It will be the one in the intake manifold side.
Feel like a dumbass now but note to myself < Check fuses properly next time -_- . Turns out that the fuse under rear seat was actually blown. Fuse nr 37 which should of been a 30 amp fuse according to the diagram. Turns out that who ever tried to have a go at fixing them before put in a 7.5 amp fuse and more then likely just gave up after that. Gonna go Halfords in a bit and get box of fuses and hopefully should have the issue sorted then.
