Gold with white angel eyes is actually nice
Other than that it not too bad
love it apart from the boot lid and as owen said the exhaust tips. but that engine bay
Nope, Does nothing for me. A bit too Fast and the Furious for me.
I much prefer OEM+ Style.
There are some seriously different style choices going on there but no doubting the work that has gone into it.
Too jappy for me big thumbs down....
A big box of No
as always, money doesn't buy taste.
One for Alvis
Looks like the same colour as yours
I don't like that at all, I like a classy top spec oem look.
I like the look of lowered cars, and deep dish wheels but that's a "tad" over the top :p

I think it's odd that a lot of us e36 owners will build or mod a car and to be honest to the untrained eye it all looks like we are making m3 reps.Quote:

theres a lad near galway with a celica gt4 spoiler on his e36 compact, all butchered to fit, even used the silicon gun to neaten the finish, wish I had few pics of it..Quote:

For example - I'm probably gonna get shot for this.. but anyway - I like the eg civic coupe (92-95 shape) with the oem sports trim, lowered with nice wheels, but all this lambo doors and fast and furious bodykits with massive spoilers and flames and stripes is just... well let's be kind, I'll just say it's not for me...
I like subtle styling, little touches that make you look at the car and think it's lovely but not be able to pin point to one particular thing.

I think it's a lovely colour Alvis :DQuote:

Is that more fear talking or lack of experience than an actual e36 head?
Maybe the lack of funds is a factor?
Certainly I agree with the points made about the fast and furious looking stuff being awful.
But surely there are other mods that could be done that are not currently that would be cool?
There's another e36 parked outside my house and it has the rubstrips on the side of the car removed. People don't like that even though it looks well and sets it apart from the rest. The reason people say is because it doesn't look like an e36!
Fear of what? I've been an e36 head since I was in nappies :DQuote:

E36s are just suited to OEM+ Style with added lows and decent wheels, Where as Jap cars are more suited to the aftermarket kits.

Strangely enough, I can understand the first one in a messed up kind of way :p but the 2nd one is a joke!
Did you see the RB26 conversion in the second one?Quote:

I don't mind the GTR look once it has everything else to match it  (first car that is, second looks like a track toy??)
Just decided that I'd keep this thread going with any odd ones I find as it it's interesting to get peoples opinions on them and get a bit of discussion going! :smiling:
Yeah I assume it is Chris, not a patch on porshemans though!
Have so say its a bit loud for myself but I do like it.
Goes like shit off a shovel too I imagine:smiling:Quote:

Now that one is beautiful bar the shitty fake splitter.
A race car can get away with anything once it's functional. Otherwise widebody kits are disgusting and a waste of time and money.
Wasn't planning on posting on this forum until I got my E36 back on the road but I had to post about that thing on the first page.
Hi Jer, glad I got you posting! :cool:Quote:
