If your near the boarder try Prefect Car in Dundalk. If you’re north of Dublin try Courtney Motors in Dublin and if south or West of Dublin try Motor Confidence on the Naas Rd
Don't forget Dave Gormley (DaveG is his username on here) in Wexford
Thanks guys have heard the following two garages all day 1. Dave Courtney motors Wexford and perfect Cars Dundalk will contact these guys now
How about these guys in Dublin DL Motorwork ??

No run in period needed. Just go handy for 4-500 miles and then drop the oil to allow for any contamination when the sump was off. The crank rides on a film of pressurised oil and does not make contact with the bearings in normal operation.
Run in period is intended for running in engines where there is metal on metal contact such as piston rings, cam lobes etc.
400-500 miles , oil and filter. Then drive as normal.
But of course do what you feel is right. Most garages will tell you to do a run in period to cover them selves I would imagine.
Thanks for that man that is good news for me i suppose they said approx 1,200km about 800 miles not way off your figure of 500 miles so feel confident to split the difference not in to much of a hurry to push her on until next season as see is not my daily driver so have plenty of time to play with but do miss that V8 sound right now
