Found this the other day, great mod to do on your E46 as it gives you cruise control as well as radio functions via the steering wheel. All you need is a set of buttons to suit your steering wheel.

I doubt it as I'm fairly sure the early 1 series had a stalk based cruise control function. I know there is an upgrade kit for later 1's and as I recall it involves replacing the 2 stalk ring with a 3 stalk one. www.realoem.com is your friend for checking the retrofit part numbers.Quote:
