lowering springs for e46 318ci msport
Hi All,
Looking at these Eibach prokit 30mm springs for my e46 318ci m sport:
http://www.ebay.ie/itm/311485621668?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Is it worth it?, it does say height reduction would be 25/10mm, but that'll be from standard.
Also, would be a bit concerned it'll fail the nct. I had a Golf years ago with lowering springs installed, it failed!
Thanks
Fred

Think you will get 10-15 mil drop on an m sport, I just ordered a set for mine last week as they are highly rated by most folk on here I think

Hiya, what about the nct. You think you'll have any issues?

Not sure to be honest, I'm hoping to do the rears meself and maybe 80 ish to get the fronts fitted, could be miles off with that though

When you getting them done, can you post a few before and after? Just forked out on new wheels so might hold off on the springs till January.

I recently paid €200 to have a set of H&R Sport installed on my e92 but that included a full four wheel alignment.....

My eibach prokit 30mm springs should be arriving tomorrow. Fastfit said they'll install them no problem, they charge 60e an hour.

An hour should be enough time, hopefully.

Hi, where you get yours done? Fastfit will no longer install 3rd party parts.

A local guy did mine in blanchardstown. Said the fronts were a wee bit awkward but was happy to take a hundred quid for the job. Still no pics due to crazy weather
