We parked my mothers with a blown headgasket at 260,000 was nothing else wrong with it she just got sick of spending money on it!!! So parked it up
And that was on the clock but she bought it in 02 or 03 can't remember which but it had been clocked before she bought it so it's actually a bit higher than the 260!! I think round 40,000 was shaved off it at the time
Put to shame already. There has to be some whoppers out there just I don't know personally of any.
I'll have to ask the brother to take a pic of it!!! That's if he can find the clocks!!! Think he has lots of bits taken off it these days!!!!
Im only approaching 129 come the next few days, not a daily driver and hasnt been since nearly 2 years back now. Would love to clock up serious mileage in it :)
My '99 318is has 182k (Not really driven in the last 2 years) and has stamped service history to 147k, My '97 318is has 147k (I think!)
Highest mileage BMW I had was 220k on an E46 320D, Mechanically fine but it seen a few ditches and badly repaired so I stripped it.
Bought over two years ago with 116k and now has 182k now.
mine just passed 83500 this morning :-)
Mines just passed the 153k mark
Ive just passed 144000 miles only have it a few weeks not so much as a blip out of it
My 1993 318is50 has ~109000 miles
Just 190k before crash, bought at 111k just shy of 2 years, and the engine is now in another car still going mighty
My iS has 180000 miles on the clock, 80k of which I put on her myself.
She now starts, stops and handles better than she left the factory.
In my opinion. [WINKING FACE]
Is there a thread for her?Quote:

Delighted to hear news of M44's approaching the big 200k.
Camshaft sensor seems to be a common fail.
I've heard that the DISA, plastic cooling pipe at the back of the head, and the PCV valve are others.
