Anyone catch qualifying? Kimi thinks hes back driving 'stages' - he keeps drifting the final bend onto the start/finish straight AND keeping things tidy for the corner exit - genius :D

Even Hamilton has turned into a bore.
Saying that, it looks like its going to be a good race tomorrow.
Webber at 25/1....might be worth a punt....even E/W...provided the get the KERS working again!!
Well that was a procession
Good drive from Hamilton!
Surprised Vettel got held up for so long behind Button.

And Lotus - looks a lot prettier than the McLaren!

I agree the lotus looks much better, although the mclaren looks good too.
It's going to be an interesting year with all the driver and team changes.
What are peoples thoughts on 18 inch wheels in F1? Lotus are testing these today at Silverstone

Whats the purpose? Apart from an easier tech transfer to ordinary joe soap cars like ours :)
That's pretty much the main purpose Ciaran:hehe!: If they do approve the changes, it's unlikely we will see these until 2017.
How it kind of looks, at first glance...

But Im sure we'd get used to it!
Not sure about the point of making them 18s to be able to transfer the technology to road going cars...surely thats more about rubber compound, etc, than the size of the wheel.....size wall deflection, aside.
I think that's also part of it Dave, the side wall deflection as most of the suspension travel at present occurs via the high profile tyres... I recko they will look well actually:cool:
Bump...any F1 fans left in the haus? Thought yesterdays race was pretty exciting to say the least:cool:

Entertaining race, nice to see a Mercedes free podium.
Probably the only race i have been glued to the whole thing in years. Still not a patch on the ''99 season :D
Very enjoyable - though, could have easily been Nico's race if he had of chosen the soft tyre at the last stop - why!! would he go for the harder?
Lewis gambled big time in the first corner post safety car...there was no need for that, to allow your rival gain even more ground, but then Nico went and did the exact same thing!!
Poor auld Kimi; nice to see McLaren get points after miserable season (though never liked the team over the years); good drive from Kvyatt and Verstappen - there's plenty too look forward in the years to come with these lads and others!!
