Try these guys - http://www.deliver-it.ie/ as they seemed competitive when I was looking. I haven't used them, so no feedback on their service levels.Quote:

Im trying to get some wheels collected in Galway and delivered to Waterford.
Just wondering what the story is with the actual collection, packaging etc. do they have to be on a pallet - wrapped or anything ?
I got some sent to me before just wrapped in plastic with an address label on eachQuote:

He said he will have them wrapped for me anyway so Ill just ask him to stick the address on each too.
They were sent to me but I think it was DPDQuote:

Personally with regards to wheels, I'd collect in person if possible.
Too much dodgy buckled/welded cracked crap out there!
I'v used DPD before (Through deliver-it.ie) for wheels from the UK. €90ish IIRC
Deliver it don't do car parts anymoreQuote:

I can probably collect and get to Dublin if your stuck on this one if that helps. I'll be back in Galway next weekend. Where in Galway is yer man? Fastway in Galway are bang on. Dpd can be wankerish when it comes to rural locations.

Here's a link to the weight of a Style 225 rim:

Interestingly the original version. Of the wheel weighs 28.3lbs, the revised version weighs 29.5lbs. A bit of strengthening going on me thinks.
As for a tyre weight a 235/40/19 would weigh in at 26/27lbs.

Book four separate parcels on parcel2go, the estimated weight at around 18kg each. Should be about 10-12 euro per parcel. The weight is just a formality, they aren't too strict on it. If your badly stuck I'm heading from galway to Dublin this evening I could possibly collect them for you.
Thanks lads. I got sorted. They are being collected from Galway this morning so hopefully have the tomorrow or Thursday.
€63 with DPD
I'm looking at a set of 16" wheels but they're in Ennis. Does anyone travel between Ennis & Dublin at all?
