It would be interesting to see if you have worked on them over the years. The E28 528i was a particularly rare and expensive car in Ireland in the depressed 1980's.
From memory all three cars had bottle top alloys.

The family name was Fox. The family usually never kept their cars more than about 3 years and they were always serviced within the BMW dealer network, you may have seen the cars later in life but unlikely with the original owners.
