Got a light scuff on one of my wheels and I guess it does have a polished face (but it might be lacquered over as it doesn't catch the nail if you run it across)
Who are the best guys to fix it in Dublin?
Looking for a perfect repair (if possible)

Rim solutions are the best but unreliable with repair times

Any feedback with route 66 or wheel wizard?
Wheel wizard are great but never got anything diamond cut from them so not sure on quality but normal paint finish is very good. Never got work from route 66 but priced them twice and were always dearest

Route66 are apparently being used by Frank Keane to do their wheel repairs.
Have you got anything diamond faced refurbed with the rim solutions crowd? Are they very close to factory finish?
Nice, I sent them a few pics of the wheel. Will wait and see what they say :)
These were rim solutions. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1c54e15b9d.jpg

They were just anthracite with diamond cut face as far as I remember.

If it doesn’t catch the nail a competent person should be able to get it out with a machine polish
They would check the thickness they have available to work with
Had a chat with one of the guys there, very helpful and they don't need to strip the whole wheel, they can just do the polished face and leave the black paint untouched :)
They were able to book me in for next week too where as Route66 a month from now.
I ended using rim solutions for the repair and while the polished face was restored almost like before there is a lot of bubbling on the lacquer upon closer look. Should have asked for a closeup on those rims above.
Would have thought that spraying a bit of lacquer is the easiest part but I guess not and could be due to the fact the whole wheel was not stripped just the polished face
