Probably better looking across the water, very rare in original e39 fitment.

have been trying but no luck , any tips where to look dave ? i tried ebay and bmw5 but nothing at the moment i presume they are the obvious places to search
I'd be looking on eBay.de, with the sterling the way it is it'll probably be similarly priced to the UK.
A set of 18" staggered style 32's would look great too

Cant tell if they are genuine or staggared

thanks darren , tried there already bit of a shite advert and wont respond to call or messages
They dont look genuine, but could be wrong!
what s the main signs of them being reps ? i have seen countless pics and its hard to distinguish
Im pretty sure Reps wont be staggered, I know I have staggered reps but they were 19"
Another thing you could do if your cheeky enough ;) is try find a car for sale with a set and ask if he would swap or do some kind of deal with your own wheels.
Thats how I got the hardtop for the e30 :)
Quarry motors on ebay had a set that looked like they were good. They were e38 I think so had the nicer front offset but on saying that needed tyres and the bore changed.
E38 M pars aren't forged
If you can't get original... Try bmautosports based in South england
Was onto bm and they are not available anymore unfortunately didn't these would be so hard to find
Wouldn't bother holding out for forged they are the rarest of all e39 wheels ,grab the first set you see e38 fitment are more aggressive looking and fill the archs better plus they can support the weight of the 7 so a 5 will be no issue
Be nice to get the forged ones but dont let it be a deal breaker
If I do come across a them who can bore them out ?and is there much work involved ? thanks
Most will be bored by now , i dont know off the top of my head who can do it but i do know (a) its not hard and (b) its not exspensive
