If I was in the market for one I would take a look at this.
Good 3.6's are now hard to find and prices are on the up.
Was enquiring about it already boss
Sills need work and paint
cheers anyway
Sills are going to be an issue on most cars now as they are a weak point.
The plastic sill covers need to come off the car for any E34 M5 to be inspected properly. I have seen cars that look great but when the sill covers were removed there was corrosion.
I have been watching the market closely and 3.6's are now getting very hard to find. The red car above has been for sale for quite a while, perhaps there is room to haggle on the price due to length of time on the market and the rot on the sills.
I think you are going to have sill issues on most cars that come to market, if the rest of the car is good and the price is right, do the work on the the sills and then you know it is sorted.
would I be right in saying that car has been for sale for well over a year now?
Yes your absolutely right boss and I don't mind if they do need doing (I have new sills bought already in preparation!!)Quote:

Correct, not sure why it hasn't sold. Perhaps it's not as good as it looks or it could be because it is located in NI.Quote:

I have not seen a £5000 E34 M5 for quite some time.
Good luck with the search.
90 WW 5 would be a good one to track down if I could bloody remember the name of the guy on driver that has it.
Was it Ian? Captain23 or something like thatQuote:

There was a guy called TSM had a 3.6 one for a while and then sold it a couple years ago, but don't know where it went to
That one went to valdas afaik , there was another one in portlaoise , i think George Dalton's brother , they have a garage there ?Quote:

Drove it too. It needed some proper finishing at the time. I used to see it back in the early 90's when M's were a really rare sight.
This one has now sold, did you buy it in the end? @[eamo] I have been keeping an eye out and very few 3.6's are now being offered for sale.

Slightly o/t to Eamo's enquiry, but am I correct in recalling that 90WW5 was originally Dakar Yellow? Seem to remember a Dakar one about the place back in the day.
I didn't boss - I did enquire about it but apparently needed work to the sillsQuote:
