classic insurance question
quick one for ye lads the e30 insurance is up later this month i have it insured on a limited milage policy for 200 odd euro valued at 50 grand, i think id want to up the value? what kind of realistic figure would be right and will it drive the premium wild i wonder? its a e30 m3 evo sport
RE: classic insurance question
Nice car so ; )
I'm not sure, would have thought 50K would be realistic, but haven't been following them in the UK market to know otherwise. Quick look on piston heads should give you an indication
RE: classic insurance question
Hard to actually find out what Sports Evolutions genuinely sell for as opposed to
what they are advertised at. Having said that, I'd be wanting it covered for enough
to ensure that you could recieve your pay out, should the worse happen, and simply
come home switch on the internet and click "Buy" on a similarly clean one .

Just pick some off Pistonheads or on mobile.de with similar spec mileage etc and use them as a bench mark!
Sure I've my 00 E46 318i down as €3k, wishful thinking :D

RE: classic insurance question
I've never been able to get the slippyery f**kers to write down on paper
what theyve agreed to give me for mine despite been assured I have an "agreed value policy".
RE: classic insurance question
To get that car landed over here now would be costing best part of €120k now IMO Tom

You might find it's actually not too bad. The great thing about classic policies is that insurance seem to know that owners are more careful with their cars than most random punters

I hope to Tom. I think this is her last summer before she qualifies for vintage tax.
Not quite sure how they decide when that kicks in. Anyhow, thinking of getting
the windscreen paperwork in order for June/July and August.
How about yours?
