Love me hairdressers cars :D
Out for you 4 choices I would go for tow of them
Scirocco: too slow
TT: 100% Haridresser
I would go for the two below
GTI
Cooper S (you can pretend to be Mr Bartley :P)
RE: VW Scirocco ? Any info ?
I always seen these as an expencive golf.
What about an e92?
RE: VW Scirocco ? Any info ?
So basically you're saying you want something slower, less fun to drive, less economical, and less well made?? :s

Scirocco - less common and i love the looks and interior
GTI - Higher tax but would go for a 05-06 if buying
Cooper S - Been there done that twice

These had crossed my mind but id be very fussy about it, would have to be sport, with leather, not Blue and diesel

The younger brothers car. Baby'd in his ownership (2nd owner). Can arrange some photos for you if you fancy, along with specifics on its history?

This is all very dependant on selling my own car so ill get back o you. Thanks.
I like the small cockpit, I like feeling cocooned on the car. Didn't really find anything wrong with the build quality personally, a lot better than any jap or French equivalents
RE: VW Scirocco ? Any info ?
Mate of mine is looking for a GT TDI in the UK - wants all the options !!
Let you know how he fares
RE: VW Scirocco ? Any info ?
Thought about buying one of these a couple of years ago. I love the styling but the interior was pretty cramped. I had another look at them last year but they seem to be only selling them with brain-damaged BlueMotion engines these days and 2.0 petrols are thin on ground.
Personally I'd import an R from the mainland.
