I'm running 8J ET20 on the rear of my Coupe, And it's just barely getting away with no rubbing.
9J will need rolled arches and stretch.
Thought so..!Quote:

A 9J rim on an E36 takes a 265/35/17 tyre! :cool::cool:
Although I should mention you cant buy a 265/35/17 any more as Michelin stopped making them yonks ago. lol

Fact!
An offset of et15 is similar to the e39 it will never work on an e36 with a 265 tyre fact!! :P:D
Yea thanks for the fact. With standard offset it would be fine but we are discussing et15 wheelsQuote:

And fitting a stUpidly stretched, narrow tyre on to an M3 is complete nonsense.
I'm not dismissing what you have said at all, the first post you quoted me on I was talking about et15 wheels not the standard offsets.Quote:

I have the same as austy on mine go for it never mind the sensible John fella stretch them and slam it lol
I'm running staggered 8 and 9" Style 32s; ET20 and ET26 front and back respectively.
I have 225/45/17 on the back and a 215/45/17 on the front.
The back rubs slightly on the rear bumper just where it meets the arch but that's easily sorted with a dremel.
The front rubbed a lot with 225s on the plastic liner inner arch. I would stuck with them and clearanced the arch but I have to run a spacer up front to clear the brembos.
You get new wheels???? Pics...Quote:
