I recently fitted an RTD short shift kit and I have for sale my previous set up.
It's a z3 2.8 lever that has been bent about 11 degree to suit the E46 M3.
I have compared this side by side to the 330d lever and it's night and day. The z3 is far shorter and much better feel. I cannot comment on the 545 comparison.
It has been on my m3 for 5 years and it performs great.
It does sit low compared to stock.
It's unique.
