e39 M5 for sale in the UK, previously registered in IRL
Might be of some interest to someone and could potentially end up being a bargain.
I was looking around to see what e39 M5's were available. This one popped up on ebay.co.uk.
Although not mentioned in the advertisment, it has previously been registered in Ireland. You can see in the photograph of documentation that there are NCT printouts and even service stamps from a garage in Mulhuddart, Dublin 15.
As far as I know, it is only a small fee to re-register a car in Ireland as the VRT has previously been paid for the car when it first entered the state.

The VRT might have been refunded and I'm not sure how you could find that out.

I suppose you could ring the tax office with the registration number 02D39000
One of the NCT sheets also reads tested in 2008 so I doubt the VRT was ever refunded.
Just found a previous owner over on BMW-driver.net, he had it up until 2010 at least.
