Better off switching to the mid I started off with the iris is well its the lowest spec piece of kit it's much easier to find the mid cd player and it's a simple retrofit a 3 cable loom from bmw for 20 quid and then plug and play

I've a CD player (late 03 model) works perfectly and the matching MID (has the usual pixel problem but repairable) make me an offer?
I switched out to an android non oem setup with USB etc
