Pioneer Headunit Problem

Ok,

So i've been searching high and low about what might be causing this problem and i just cant find anything anywhere.

So my reverse camera works fine - once!

Everytime I turn it on in settings on the HU it will come on once, and then deselect itself in the menu to off again once i come back out of reverse

Has anyone ever had this happen to them before

Ive played with every setting on the HU and nothing is working!!

Stab in the dark but maybe try a firmware upgrade?

Is the reverse camera wired to reverse light to come on automatically when reverse is engaged?

Yes afaik it is......when i select it it does come on when reverse is engaged in fairness to it - it just then deselects itself afterwards

It is all can bus based. The device I installed sends 12v when it detects the reverse message on the can bus.
It works all the time, but first time, then option for reverse camera in radio goes to Off.
Really weird. I suspect a software bug.
